Nantes prevented Toulouse from successfully defending their Coupe de France championship.
Logan Costa scored two goals in the first ten minutes to propel Toulouse to a 5-1 victory against Nantes in the final. Thijs Dallinga doubled Toulouse’s goals by the 31st minute, sending his team into the halftime break up 4-0.
Toulouse has won the Coupe de France for the first time since 1957, probably the most important prize in the club’s history.
