PARIS ST. GERMAIN WIN THE 10TH LEAGUE TITLE.
Paris St. Germain needed a point to win their 10th league title and bring the crown back to Paris [from Lille]
Lionel Messi scored what would have been a game-winning goal in the 68th minute to get Paris St. Germain the point to conclude the title race in the French Ligue 1.

Paris St. Germain got the point to win the Ligue 1 title.
Marseille and Rennes followed along with wins.
Strasbourg falls out of the top 4 (to 6th) after a defeat at Lille.
Monaco moved up a position to 4th with a win at Saint-Etienne.

Brest and Montpellier switching positions was the only positional change that occurred in the bottom half of the Ligue 1 table.
There is a maximum of 12 points left for each team to survive relegation.

The first half ended with Lyon blowing a 2- goal lead by conceding two goals in added time but they bounced back in the second half to pick up the maximum points from a 5-2 win against Montpellier.

Six wins in a row for Monaco in the league.
Wissam Ben Tedder’s 20th league goal of the season kicked things off to get Monaco a 4-1 win at Saint-Etienne.


Rennes thrashed Lorient ‘5-0’ to put an end to a two-game losing streak.

Angers blow a 2- goal first-half lead to settle for a point from a 2-2 draw with Clermont.

Bordeaux blows a 2- goal first-half lead to suffer a 5-3 defeat to Nantes.

Khéphren Thuram’s goal in the fourth minute of the final added time secured maximum points for Nice at Troyes’s expense.

A day after losing their status as Ligue 1 Champions, Mehmet Zeki Celik scored the only goal of the game in the 87th minute to win Lille the game against Strasbourg.

Gerson’s goal in the 83rd minute allowed Marseille to tighten their grip on second place with a 1-0 win at Reims.
