Montpellier moved up 4 positions to 5th with a win at Brest.

Brest 6-match winning streak came to a crashing end in the second half against Montpellier.

REIMS 2-0 SAINT- ETIENNE
Saint-Etienne finished the first half a goal down and a man down.
El Bilal Toure scored from the penalty spot to get Reims the lead in the 23rd minute, and Denis Bouanga received a straight red card in the final minutes of the half to leave Saint-Etienne with 10 men to chase for an equalizing goal in the second half.

LILLE 0-0 LYON
Lille and Lyon are both sitting two low in the standing than what preseason expectations would’ve suggested.

ANGERS 0-1 CLERMONT
Mohamed Bayo scored the match-winning penalty for Clermont to get a narrow win that ended a run of 7 matches without a win.

METZ 4-1 LORIENT
Lorient suffered their 8th straight defeat in a run of 12 matches without a win.
Lorient arguably did enough to get something out of this game.

RENNES 1- 2 NICE
Nice beat Rennes to win their first in four matches.

Bordeaux beat Troyes to end a 5 game winless streak.
Strasbourg was denied three wins in a row by Marseille.
