Manchester United and Newcastle were involved in the EFL Cup final this weekend, so their games with Brighton and Brentford had to be postponed.
The two points remain between Arsenal and Manchester City in the title race. Both teams went away from home and came out with a win.
Despite not being involved in the weekend fixtures, Manchester United and Newcastle remain in their positions.
Tottenham made efforts to keep their ‘top four’ status through a win against a struggling Chelsea side.
Liverpool made out with a point against Crystal Palace.
West Ham moved out of the relegation zone after a 4-0 win against Nottingham Forest.
Everton and Bournemouth dropped in the relegation zone.
Leeds United moved out of the relegation zone with a win that kept Southampton unmoved at the bottom of the league.
