PREMIER LEAGUE after Round 5

 

Arsenal stayed top of the pile by stretching their 100% winning start.
Manchester City keeps tabs on Arsenal.
Tottenham and Brighton remain in the top four even though they both failed to get a win this round.
Manchester United moved up to 5th place.
Chelsea dropped four positions down to 10th.
Leicester City remains without a win and at the bottom of the standings with a point.
Wolves and Everton are the other two clubs without a win.

Chelsea suffered their second defeat of the season after a 2-0 defeat against Southampton.

Everton could not hold on to a first-half lead to get their first win of the season. They share the points in a 1-1 draw with Leeds United.

Fulham got their second win of the season while handing Brighton their first defeat of the season.

Wolves remain without a win after a goalless draw at Bournemouth.

Crystal Palace followed a 4-2 defeat at Manchester City with a 1-1 draw with Brentford.
Just like in their match against Everton in the last round, Brentford came from a goal down to secure a point with a goal in the final 10 minutes of regulation time.

With the backing of their home support, Arsenal stretched their perfect winning start with a 2-1 win against Aston Villa. Arsenal stays top of the league with five wins from their first five games.

Erling Haaland scored a first-half hattrick to contribute to Manchester City’s 6-0 win against newly-promoted Nottingham Forest.

Tottenham remains unbeaten but dropped points for the second time after sharing the points in a 1-1 draw with West Ham.

Back-to-back wins for Liverpool.
With the backing of their home support, Liverpool won their second game of the season by recovering from a goal down to used Fabio Carvalho’s 90+8 game-winning goal to get a 2-1 win against Newcastle United.

A successive 1-0 win on the road for Manchester United after picking up a win against Leicester City with a goal from Jadon Sancho.
