It took until the second half for the goals to come, but Tottenham remained unbeaten and maintained their position at the top of the Premier League table with a 2-1 away victory against Crystal Palace. Heung-Min Son scored the winning goal after Joel Ward deflected the ball into his own net to open the scoring.

After blowing a two-goal lead at home to settle for a point against Arsenal, Chelsea went on to lose at home, 2-0, against a Brentford side that has not been impressive this season. The result sees Brentford leap above Chelsea in the league standings. Ethan Pinnock scored the game-winning goal in the 58th minute, and Bryan Mbeumo doubled the lead in the dying minutes through a counter-attack, as Chelsea had pushed every player into the attacking third to salvage a point.

Bournemouth came from a goal down and took advantage of their opponent to pick up their first league win of the season, winning 2-1 against Burnley.

Edward Nketiah scored a hat-trick to help Arsenal comfortably pick up a 5-0 win over a Sheffield United side that remains without a league win (9 defeats).

Callum Wilson scored a brace, but Newcastle couldn’t secure a win against Wolves. Hee-Chan Hwang scored the equalizing goal in the second half, resulting in a 2-2 draw and keeping Wolves unbeaten in their last four league games since ending Manchester City’s unbeaten start.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the game’s only goal in the 51st minute, allowing Everton to bounce back after a Merseyside derby defeat with a ‘1-0’ victory in London against West Ham. This result marked West Ham’s third consecutive defeat in a four-game winless streak, which included two losses and a draw in league games.

Aston Villa secured their seventh win out of ten games in a comfortable victory against the newly-promoted Luton Town.

Joao Palhinha scored an equalizing goal for Fulham to deny Brighton a league win. It ended ‘1-1’ as Brighton go four straight league games without a win.
Liverpool’s front three each scored a goal to earn them three points at home against Nottingham Forest.

The blue half of Manchester prevailed, with Manchester City coming out on top in the Manchester Derby with a ‘3-0’ win at Old Trafford. Phil Foden scored the final goal of the game, adding to a brace from Erling Haaland.
