Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham Hotspur (English Premier League): Tottenham, unbeaten, holds a two-point lead in the title race and an opportunity to set the pace by opening up a five-point lead for the chasing pack to catch up. To achieve this, a win at Selhurst Park will be essential. Crystal Palace is coming off a 4-0 defeat to Newcastle.

Barcelona vs. Real Madrid (Spanish La Liga): El Clásico
The last time Barcelona and Real Madrid met, Barcelona came back from a goal down to win 2-1, with Frank Kessie scoring the winning goal in injury time. Barcelona and Real Madrid will play with just one point separating them in the league. Real Madrid tops the league table with 25 points, Barcelona is third with 24 points and is the only club in the league that remains unbeaten.
Girona, second, will be looking to take advantage of this situation if they can beat Celta Vigo, who are currently in the relegation zone.

Bayern Munich vs. Darmstadt (German Bundesliga): Bayern Munich, who are two points behind the leaders in the Bundesliga after eight rounds, will be looking to close the gap when they take on newly-promoted Darmstadt, who are coming off a defeat to RB Leipzig. Bayern secured a win against bottom-placed Mainz in their last league game, and they will be confident of taking all three points against newly-promoted Darmstadt.

Bournemouth vs. Burnley (English Premier League): Bournemouth and Burnley, two teams struggling for points, will face off in an important match. Both teams are prime relegation candidates after nine rounds of the Premier League season. Bournemouth and Sheffield United are the only two teams without a win this season, while Burnley has one win. This match is an opportunity for both teams to pick up points against a similarly-matched opponent.

Genoa vs. Salernitana (Italian Serie A): Salernitana, one of three teams in the relegation zone without a win after nine rounds of the Serie A season, drew 2-2 with Cagliari in their last match. They will now travel to Genoa in search of their first league win of the season. Genoa have lost their last two league matches, but those defeats came against strong opposition in AC Milan and Atalanta.

Juventus vs. Hellas Verona (Italian Serie A): Juventus are two points behind the top of the Italian Serie A table after beating AC Milan at the San Siro. A home win against Hellas Verona could move them to the top of the table if other results go in their favor. Hellas Verona have not won in their last seven league games (5 losses, 2 draws) and are coming off a 3-1 home defeat to Napoli.

RB Leipzig vs. FC Köln (German Bundesliga): RB Leipzig, who are three points away from the top four, will host FC Köln, who are in the relegation zone. FC Köln will be hoping to build on their first win of the season (3-1) against Borussia Mönchengladbach, but they will need to be at their best to avoid following it up with another defeat against a strong RB Leipzig side.

Stuttgart vs. Hoffenheim (German Bundesliga): Stuttgart, who are one point behind the league leaders, will be hoping to continue their good form when they take on Hoffenheim at home. They have the top goalscorer in the league, Serhou Guirassy, in their ranks and will be backed by a vociferous home crowd. The two teams played out two draws last season, with the results being 1-1 in Stuttgart and 2-2 in Hoffenheim.

AZ Alkmaar vs. NEC Nijmegen (Dutch Eredivisie): AZ Alkmaar, one of three unbeaten teams in the Eredivisie (alongside Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven), will be looking to take advantage of any slip-up by PSV Eindhoven in their clash with Ajax by beating NEC Nijmegen.

Cagliari vs. Frosinone (Italian Serie A): Cagliari and Frosinone, two newly-promoted teams in Serie A, will face off. Cagliari, the worst-performing of the newly-promoted teams, will host Frosinone, the best-performing of the newly-promoted teams.

Metz vs. Le Havre (French Ligue 1): The newly-promoted teams Metz and Le Havre will face off in Ligue 1. Metz, which is in the relegation-playoff spot in the league standings, is just two points behind Le Havre.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Borussia Dortmund (German Bundesliga): Dortmund, just two points away from the top of the league standings, will look to extend their unbeaten run in the league with a result in Frankfurt. They were 2-1 winners on their last visit and 4-0 winners the last time they hosted Frankfurt.

Inter Milan vs. Roma (Italian Serie A): Inter Milan, currently at the top of the league standings, will be looking to maintain their position with a home win over Roma. The last time these two teams met, Roma won 2-1, coming from behind to win thanks to a Chris Smalling goal. However, Inter Milan won the most recent meeting 2-0 in Rome.

Lille vs. Monaco (French Ligue 1): To maintain their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table after the tenth round of matches, Monaco must win in Lille. Nice and PSG are hot on their heels, with Lille just five points behind. Lille beat Brest in the previous round to move ahead of them in the standings.

Liverpool vs. Nottingham Forest (English Premier League): At just three points away from the top of the league, Liverpool will look to build on their Merseyside derby win with another league victory against Nottingham Forest. They were 3-2 winners in this fixture last season after losing 1-0 in the reverse fixture. Nottingham Forest is without a league win in their last five games (1L, 4D), coming off a match in which they surrendered a 2-goal lead to settle for a point against Luton Town.

Manchester United vs. Manchester City (English Premier League): Manchester Derby
The last time this fixture was played, Manchester United emerged as 2-1 winners, but their most recent meeting was a 2-1 FA Cup win for Manchester City. Despite Manchester City sitting atop the table and being considered the stronger side, Manchester United is the side looking for their third straight league win, while Manchester City is looking to secure another league win after ending a two-game win drought in the last round against Brighton.
Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool, and Tottenham with favorable fixtures will plan to capitalize on any slip-ups by Manchester City.

Marseille vs. Lyon (French Ligue 1): Marseille and Lyon, both considered French football royalty, are struggling to live up to expectations in terms of results. While Marseille is in a far better position (8th), Lyon is at the bottom of the table without a league win. Marseille completed a league double over Lyon last season, and given Lyon’s struggles, Marseille seems to be the likely winner, but in football, surprises can happen.

Napoli vs. AC Milan (Italian Serie A): AC Milan is coming off a defeat to the most successful club in Serie A, Juventus, and will look to make amends away against the defending champions, Napoli. AC Milan is looking to the result to keep up with their city rival, Inter Milan, in the Serie A title race.
In their last meeting with Napoli, AC Milan secured a 4-0 win. The most recent meetings of the two teams were in last season’s Champions League quarter-finals, with AC Milan edging out a result with a 2-1 aggregate win, thanks to a 1-0 first-leg victory at home. There are four points between the two teams. Can Napoli cut the point-gap down to one?

PSV Eindhoven vs. Ajax (Dutch Eredivisie): De Topper
The last time Ajax won against PSV Eindhoven was on January 23, 2022, five meetings ago, with a 2-1 victory in Eindhoven. Since then, PSV Eindhoven has emerged victorious, beating them twice in the league and winning two KNVB Cup finals against Ajax, as well as a Dutch Super Cup final. After nine rounds of the season, PSV Eindhoven leads the Eredivisie as the only team with a perfect winning record in the league and also the only team with a perfect record among the top 7 European leagues. Ajax, on the other hand, is in the relegation zone, 17th in the league standings, with only one win from the seven league games played.

Twente vs. Feyenoord (Dutch Eredivisie): Twente is just one point and one position behind defending champions Feyenoord in the Eredivisie standings after nine rounds. Feyenoord is unbeaten but four points off the top of the standings.

Boavista vs. Sporting CP (Portuguese Primeira Liga): Sporting CP is at the top of the Primeira Liga as the only unbeaten team. Their lead is just one point, so a win against Boavista is essential to maintain their position. Benfica and FC Porto are in a position to take advantage of any dropped points by Sporting CP.
