Ante Rebic scored two goals but the winning goal was from Brahim Diaz.
Despite going down a goal in the opening 2 minutes, AC Milan recovered to kick off their title defense season with a 4-2 win against Udinese.

Goals from Rafael Toloi and Ademola Lockman got Atalanta a winning start to their season against Sampdoria.

Denzel Dumfries’s goal in the fifth minute of the final added minutes saved Inter Milan from dropping points at Lecce. It was a narrow 2-1 win for Inter Milan.

Monza’s first Serie A match ended as a 2-1 defeat to Torino.

Luis Maximiano’s red card left Lazio with a numerical disadvantage until Adama Soumaoro accumulated yellow cards even the play. Lazio recovered from a goal down in the first half to kick off the new season with a 2-1 home win against Bologna.

Rolando Mandragora’s late goal saved Fiorentina from dropping two points at home to promoted Cremonese; who came back from a goal down on two occasions.

Bryan Cristante’s goal in the first half was the difference between Roma and Salernitana. Roma took three points home from a narrow 1- 0 win.

Spezia made home advantage count by kicking off their season with a 1-0 win against Empoli.

Napoli kicked off their season with a 5-2 win against Hellas Verona.

Angel Di Maria got a debut goal to open the scoring for the game in the 26th minute to help Juventus kick off their season with three points from a 3-0 win against Sassuolo. Dusan Vlahovic added the two goals.
