Benfica kicked off the second leg with a 2-0 lead at home and added 3 goals to their lead to knock Dynamo Kyiv to the Europa League.
Red Star Belgrade overturned the tie before losing their grip after conceding a late in the first half, and a 90th-minute own goal to lose at home on aggregate. Maccabi Haifa is in the Champions League group stage for the first time since the 2009–10 season.
Viktoria Plzen came from a goal down in the first half with two second-half goals to win the playoff after a
goalless first leg with Qarabag.

Rangers, Copenhagen, and Dinamo Zagreb move on to the Champions League group stage.
PSV Eindhoven, Trabzonspor and Bodø/Glimt drop into the Europa League.

Antonio Colak took advantage of a defensive error between PSV Eindhoven’s goalkeeper and center back to put Ranger a goal up on the hour mark and sent them through to the Champions League group stage.
Copenhagen held on to their 2-1 home win to advance from Turkey.
Dinamo Zagreb wiped Bodø/Glimt’s lead in the first 35 minutes of the second leg with two goals but Bodø/Glimt’s second-half substitute Albert Gronbaek scored in the 70th minute to force an extra time. About four minutes away from a penalty shootout, Josip Drmic scored the winning goal (117th minute) for Dinamo Zagreb. A push for an equalizing goal exposed Bodø/Glimt to another goal from a counterattack in the 120th minute.

Karim Benzema (Real Madrid & France) beat Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid & Belgium) and Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City & Belgium) to win the UEFA MEN’S PLAYER OF THE YEAR award, while Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid) beat Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) and Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool) to the UEFA MEN’S COACH OF THE YEAR award.
