ROAD TO THE SEMI FINAL

PERU 3-3 PARAGUAY
(Peru won 4-3 on penalties)
Peru advanced to the semi final after winning a Pko at U end of a 6- goal thriller
Paraguay was first to get on the scoreboard, before Peru came from behind and took a 2- I lead into the break.
Paraguay got even in the 54″ minute, but went a goal down at the start of the final ten minutes of regulation time.
Peru’s Andre Carrillo was sent off in the 85″ minute after accumulating yellow cards. The numerical disadvantage ended up costing Peru their lead five minutes later; sending the teams to penalty kick offs.

BRAZIL 1-0 CHILE
A 10-man Brazil team got through Chile to reach the semifinals.
It has been over seven decades since Brazil lost a Copa America fixture on home soil.
The streak continues for Brazil. They look bound to defend their title.
Gabriel Jesus was deservedly sent off on a straight red card in the 48th minute after a ‘karate kick’ tackle on Eugenio Mena.

URUGUAY 0-0 COLOMBIA
Colombia win 4-2 on penalties
After a goalless draw in a tight contest, Colombia advanced to the semifinal after a 4-2 victory against Uruguay.
All four of Colombia’s penalty takers converted their chances into goals, while Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez were the only Uruguayans to score from the spot.

ARGENTINA 3-0 ECUADOR
Lionel Messi assisted two and scored one to get Argentina past F- cud or to book a semifinal date with Colombia.
Rodrigo DePaul scored the winning goal in the 40″ minute to send Argentina to the halftime break with a foot in the semifinal.
