Give Cadiz an away game and you can believe they will come up with a win. A 2-0 win against Eibar meant Cadiz have won all their away fixtures since promotion; and have won none at home.

Eden Hazard returns from injury to score Real Madrid’s opening goal in their 4-1 thrashing of Huesca.

Late goals in the final 15 minutes of regulation time allowed Athletic Club to come from a goal down and win at home against Sevilla. A third straight league defeat for Sevilla.

Joao Felix would have been on a hat-trick if he had converted his second penalty kick of the match into a goal. Atletico Madrid were 3-1 winners away at Osasuna. Lucas Torreira scored three minutes after coming off the bench to settle the nerves of Atletico Madrid; after Ante Budimir had halved their lead in the 80th minute.

Barcelona could only recover a point at Alaves after a defensive error from miscommunication between defence and goalkeeper caused them to go a goal down in the opening half against Alaves.

The first goal of Cristian Tello’s brace gave Real Betis the three points at home against recently-promoted Elche. It was Elche’s first defeat since the defeat in their opening match of the season.

Iago Aspas was the scorer and Celta Vigo were the losers.(common). Willian Jose scored two goals as Real Sociedad picked up three points on the road from a ‘4-1’ victory against Celta Vigo.

Despite playing with a numerical disadvantage, Granada held on to claim a point at home against Levante.

Getafe turned the game around in the final minutes against a 10-man Valencia side but a late penalty deep in extra time allowed Carlos Soler to get Valencia a point. It finished 2-2.

In the final game of the round, Villaraeal made it 5 games unbeaten after a 2-0 win against Real Valladolid.
