Sergio Ramos converted a penalty into a goal in the second half to give Real Madrid a goal lead when Atletico Madrid’s Diego Godin failed attempt to head the ball resulted in a ‘handball’ foul inside his penalty box.

Diego Costa scored his second of the match to bring Atletico Madrid back to level terms in the 79th-minute to send the match into extra-time, where his side secured a victory by striking in two goals in the first half of extra time.
