Day Two of the first round of the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League brought very few suprises as well.  Harry Kane was the star of the match as Tottenham Hotspur did themselves a huge favor by getting a victory over Borussia Dortmund at the Wembley Stadium. In a group that involves the mighty Real Madrid, this was a very important match for these two sides to start their Champions League season on the right foot.

With Porto losing at home to Besiktas, both Portuguese teams in the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League have started the competition with a loss.

As expected, Real Madrid made an easy task of APOEL at the Bernabeu. Cristiano Ronaldo added two goals to his Champions League goal scoring record.
