Lewis Ferguson’s goal in the opening minute of the second half was enough to give Bologna a 1-0 win against Lazio.
Napoli did as expected and got the win over Salernitana, keeping Salernitana without a league win.
Inter Milan picked up three points in Bergamo as they beat Atalanta 2-1. Atalanta was aiming to maintain their spot in the top four, but Inter Milan had to deny them that to keep their grip on the top spot.
AC Milan has failed to win in their last four matches, three of which were in the league, after losing 1-0 to Udinese at the San Siro. Udinese had not won a league match all season before this victory.
A dramatic end to the game saw Roma score two goals in the final added minutes to come from a goal down and avoid a home defeat with a 2-1 win against Lecce. Romelu Lukaku scored the winning goal to make up for failing to convert a penalty in the 5th minute that would have given Roma the ideal start. Pontus Almqvist scored the game’s opening goal in the 71st minute to give Lecce a lead that seemed to secure them a win. In the end, Lecce left Rome empty-handed as Roma got back to winning ways after losing to Inter Milan in the last round.
Fabio Miretti’s goal in the 10th minute earned Juventus three points in a 1-0 away win against Fiorentina.
Frosinone won their first game in three league matches, mirroring Empoli’s third consecutive league defeat. Nikola Vllasic’s second-half goal secured a ‘2-1’ victory for Torino against Sassuolo.
