Sergio Aguero and Liverpool break records in the 21st round of the 2019/20 Premier League season.

Liverpool – 38 league matches unbeaten.

With a match in hand, Liverpool remained unbeaten as their lead rises to 14 points.
Manchester City takes second place from Leicester City.
Sheffield United replaces Tottenham in the ‘top 6’.

The gap between the top 4 and the remainder of the league stayed at 5 points.
Watford climbed out of relegation, with Aston Villa replacing them.
Norwich looks like Norwich will be going down.

The only positional changes in the bottom half of the league is Watford’s move out of the relegation zone. 19th to 17th. (Pushing Aston Villa to the relegation zone).

Sergio Aguero adds three more goals to his season tally to make 177 Premier League goals and 12 Premier League hattricks.
Aguero’s hattrick against Aston Villa allowed him to dethrone Thierry Henry (175) as the highest scoring foreign player in the league’s history, and to dethrone Alan Shearer (11) as the player with the most hat-tricks.

Despite having no goals in the last two league matches, Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) is still the goal king in the league with 17 goals. Danny Ings (Southampton) has scored a goal in his last three league matches to close in on Vardy.

Ings sit behind in the Golden Boot race with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal) and Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) on 14 goals each.

West Ham thought they found a late equalizer but VAR had other ideas.
West Ham loses to Sheffield United to suffer their first defeat under David Moyes’s second spell as manager.

Three league draws in a row for Crystal Palace after Jordan Ayew’s 54th-minute equalizing goal saw this sid avoid defeat at home to Arsenal.
Arsenal had to play the last 30+ minutes of the match with a numerical disadvantage when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was sent off for a reckless tackle.

Chelsea picked up their first league win at Stamford Bridge in three matches by handing Burnley a ‘3-0’ defeat.
The result made it a 4th consecutive league defeat for Burnley.

After losing their last two competitive matches to the best teams in the league (Liverpool and Manchester City), Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton returned to winning ways with a win against Brighton

It might not have been by the same margin but Southampton returns favor by getting an away win against Leicester City.

Marcus Rashford scored a brace as Manchester United comfortably took three points against Norwich.

Jose Mourinho and Tottenham couldn’t stop the Liverpool train as Liverpool goes unbeaten in 38-matches; 21 matches this season without defeat, including 20 wins.
Liverpool’s ‘1-0’ win over Tottenham was made sweeter by Leicester City’s defeat to Southampton.

Watford are now unbeaten in their last 5 league matches, and are on a 3-match winning streak after using a ‘3-0’ win to grab three points at Bournemouth.

The wide gap in talent between Aston Villa and Manchester City was displayed at Villa Park.
Manchester City (already the highest scoring club in Europe this season) added 6 goals to their goals scored in the league.
