Three more rounds left to go and Rennes, Monaco, and Nice hit the 60-point mark to make Marseille uncomfortable.

As typical of the season, Paris St. Germain dropped points but no team was able to punish them for it.

Marseille’s grip on second place loosened after a 3-0 defeat at home against Lyon, while Rennes found the three points to keep Saint-Etienne in the bottom three.

Monaco is back in contention for second place after marking their 7th successive victory with a 2-0 win over Angers.

Nice joined the party with a narrow win against a relegation-bound Bordeaux.

A 10-man Brest opened a 13-point gap on Clermont with a 2-0 victory.

Lille was beaten after conceding three penalties that were converted by Troyes into game-winning goals. In addition to the defeat, Renato Sanches and Burak Yilmaz picked up red cards in the second half to see Lille end the game with 9 players.

With Saint-Etienne and Bordeaux being on the losing end of their respective fixtures, Metz survived relegation this weekend with a point from a 2-2 draw with Montpellier.
