Qualified Teams – Spots are filling up for Russia.
We now have a quarter of the teams that will be in Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Seven of the eight teams that will be making the trip to Russia also made it to Brazil for the 2017 FIFA World Cup. Saudi Arabia will be the only team making an appearance after missing both the 2010 and the 2014 editions of the competition.
Four teams from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), two from the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), one from the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL), and another from the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF).
We are patiently waiting for the other 24 teams to populate the list.
