  • Rennes ended a run of 5 straight defeats in all competition with a 1-1 draw against a 10-man Strasboug.
  • After having their last two matches in the league postponed, Marseill returned to league action with a comfortable 3-1 win at home against Nantes. It’s four league wins in a row for Marseille.
  • From giving up a lead to suffer a defeat at Monaco to giving up a lead to settle for a point at home against Bordeaux. Paris St. Germain dropped points in consecutive matches after a 2-2 draw with Bordeaux.
  • Three wins in a row for Lyon after a 3-0 win at home against Reims.
  • Four wins on the bounce for Montpellier after a narrow win ‘1-0’ win at Lorient.
  • Three games without a win as Metz suffered their first defeat in 9 games after a 2-0 home defeat to Brest. For Brest, this was the third straight wins since they ended a streak of three straight defeats in the league.
  • Monaco added to their string of wins after a -30 win against Nimes. 4 in a row for Monaco. Lille is up next.
  • Dijon picked up their opening win of the season with a 3-1 win at Nice. The result was the 4 th defeat in a row for Nice in all competitions.
  • It was 9 games without a win for Saint-Etienne but they managed to make it not an 8th straight defeat after taking a point at home against Lille. The result meant Lille failed to capitalize on Paris St. Germain’s failures. A win here would have allowed Lille to equal Paris St. Germain in points accumulated.
