Liverpool was looking to get back to winning ways in the league after consecutive draws. A rare attack from Swansea City allowed Gylfi Sigurdsson to score and stop Liverpool from completing their objective
Four goals were scored within ten minutes of the second half. Fernando Llorente scored a brace to give Swansea a two-goal lead. In under five minutes, Roberto Firmino equaled Llorente’s goals in the match and helped Liverpool cancel Swansea City’s lead.
