After seven rounds of the 2017/18 English Premier League, the two Manchester teams are equal on points at the top of the standings, separated only by goal difference.

Manchester City successfully passed their test at Stamford Bridge and took all three points against a Chelsea side that was tipped to give Manchester City a difficult time. Manchester City remains at the top of the league table after Kevin de Bruyne’s second-half strike gave them a deserved victory over Chelsea.

Marouane Fellaini was a star in a match that Manchester United had a quite easy time playing home against a Crystal Palace side that has been incredibly consistent in accumulating defeats and failing to score a goal. Seven games into the season and Crystal Palace remains in search for a goal, a victory, or even a point from a draw. A four-goal defeat against Manchester United means made it seventeen goals in seven matches for Crystal Palace.

While Harry Kane was able to contribute two goals to see Tottenham pick up an away victory over newly-promoted Huddersfield, a promising Liverpool side could only manage a point against a newly-promoted Newcastle United. Arsenal’s was lifted above Liverpool in the league standings after beating Brighton & Hove Albion.  West Ham scored a late goal against Swansea City to climb out of the relegation zone.

Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku is top scorer with 7 goals.
