Relegation-zoned Middlesbrough could only manage a point in their home fixture against Burnley.  It is looking like recently-promoted Middlesbrough is going to head back to the Championship.

Southampton got a goal to get an away victory against West Bromwich Albion.  The victory allowed Southampton to cut the gap between the two team down to four points.

It was five winless matches for Swansea City after West Ham found a late second-half goal to pick up the victory.
