Barcelona remain 8 points in the lead with a win at home against Cadiz.
Real Madrid left it late but eventually got the goals to get three points against Osasuna.
Real Betis held on to third place despite the points dropped at home in a ‘1-1’ draw with Celta Vigo.
Atletico Madrid crossed the 40-point mark with a ‘1-0’ win against Atletic Club.

Getafe used a 1-0 win against Valencia to move out of the relegation zone. Valencia dropped deeper into relegation (19th), and Cadiz dropped into the relegation zone as well.
Elche remains unmoved at the bottom of the table.
