10 of the best 11 in were European based players. (As expected)
Goalkeeper Denis Onyango was the only player in the best IX playing in a domestic league in the African continent.
The English Premier League was well represented with 7/11 players, with 3 players from Liverpool
Two players representing the Italian Serie and one from the Spanish La Liga.
