FRENCH LIGUE 1 after five rounds

The fifth round of the French Ligue 1 was played on Wednesday. All 10 games.

Reims, Lyon, Troyes, Montpellier, Lens, Nice, Marseille, Rennes, and Paris St. Germain picked up three points. Strasbourg and Nantes shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

Lens 5-2 Lorient
Lille 1-2 Nice
Marseille 1-0 Clermont Foot

Toulouse 3-0 Paris St. Germain


Monaco suffered a 4-2 defeat at home to Troyes. A back-to-back win for Troyes to keep Monaco without a win in the league since their victory in the opening round of the season.

Nice won their first game of the season in a 2-1 win at Lille.
Reims won their first game of the season in a 4-1 win at Angers.

No team has a perfect record but Paris St Germain, Lens, Marseille, and Lyon are the unbeaten clubs in the league after 5 rounds.

Lyon and Lorient still have a game in hand (against each other).

Strasbourg, Angers, and recently-promoted Ajaccio are the clubs without a win on the table.
