LILLE WINS THEIR 4TH LEAGUE TITLE ON THE FINAL DAY OF THE FRENCH LIGUE 1 SEASON.

 



Paris St. Germain are dethroned.
Lille are Ligue 1 champions.

A 2-1 win against Angers gave Lille their first league title in 10 years.
Lille won their fourth league title to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 3rd league title.

Despite losing 1-0 at home to relegated Dijon, Saint-Etienne remained the most successful Ligue 1 side with their 10 league titles.

Lille and Paris St. Germain took the direct qualification ticket to the Champions League group stage, while Monaco will start their Champions League journey for the coming season in the third round qualifying round.

Lyon and Marseille will represent the French Ligue 1 in the UEFA Europa League, while Rennes took the spot for the Europa Conference League play-off round.
