Alaves took the lead through an own goal and were 3-0 up in the 55th minute, eventually winning 3-1 at home against Granada. The result leaves Granada without a win in 15 competitive games, 14 of which were league games.
Barcelona have now gone five league games against Rayo Vallecano without a win, with Rayo Vallecano winning three of them. A Florian Lejeune own goal in the 82nd minute saved Barcelona from defeat, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
Valencia and Celta Vigo shared the points in a goalless draw, allowing both teams to recover from defeats in their last league game with a point.
Taking the lead didn’t help Almeria secure their first league win. They were down 2-1 by halftime and suffered a 2-1 away defeat to Getafe.
Antoine Griezmann’s goal in the 64th minute secured Atlético Madrid a 1-0 win at home against a relegation-threatened Mallorca.
Jose Luis Morales led Villarreal to a victory against Osasuna with a second-half hat-trick, securing Villarreal’s first league win in three games, while Osasuna extended their winless streak to four league matches.
Youssef En-Nesyri halved the deficit for Sevilla in the 60th minute, but it wasn’t enough as they lost 2-1 in a match that was evenly contested. Sevilla is now without a win in seven league games. Ander Barrenetxea’s free-kick was turned into the net by Sevilla’s goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic in the opening three minutes of the game, and Umar Sadiq scored the winning goal with a stunning strike in the 22nd minute.
A brace from Rodrygo and another goal from Jude Bellingham handed Real Madrid a 3-0 win, earning them three points against Cadiz.
Willian Jose’s goal decided the game for Real Betis at Las Palmas’ expense.
