Bayern and Dortmund can’t afford anything but a win in their final four matches.

Niklas Sule was the difference maker when Bayern welcomed Werder Bremen. Sule scored the winning goal for Bayern Munich to keep top spot in the Bundesliga standings with just 4 matches left to go.

Borussia Dortmund kept up the pace with Bayern by getting 3 second-half goals to leave Freiburg with a 4-0 win.

A ‘2-1’ away victory gave way for RB Leipzig to tighten their grip on Champions League football after beating Monchengladbach.

There is virtually one more spot left in the league standings to clinch a place in the 2019/20 Champions League.

Frankfurt failed to get the extra 2 points to cushion their ‘Champions League’
Defender John Anthony Brooks was in the opponent’s box to score a 90th-minute goal that brought Wolfsburg from a losing position to avoid a defeat at home to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Schalke was hammered ‘5-2’ at home by Hoffenheim. Fortunately for Schalke, their defeat didn’t cost them much as Stuttgart was on the wrong end of a ‘6-0’ hammering from Augsburg.

Ayoze Perez scored three as Newcastle made is a consecutive league victory after winning 3-1 against Southampton.

Poor defending and spectacular goals at Goodison Park saw Manchester United humiliated by a 4-0 defeat to Everton.

Arsenal loses at home to Crystal Palace.

Georgino Wijnaldum scored the winning goal for Liverpool.
Liverpool found the goals in the second half to return to the top of the league table.

Chelsea was involved in a ‘2-2’ draw at Stamford Bridge against Burnley after sharing 4 goals in the opening 25 minutes of the match.

Tottenham lost, Arsenal lost, Manchester United lost, and Chelsea drew. There isn’t a clear indication as to how the bottom half of the ‘Top 4’ in the league standings will look at the end of the season.

A goalless draw between Rayo Vallecano and Huesca didn’t offer both teams the needed points to aid their objective to avoid relegation.

The goals came from the defenders (Lenglet and Alba) for Barcelona to keep their 9-point lead at the top of the La Liga table.

Caen beats Nice to climb from the bottom of the table while Guingamp stuck at the bottom of the league table after a ‘3-1’ home defeat to Marseille. Guingamp was the only side in the bottom three that didn’t win their match.

Relegated Chievo Verona shocked the league after beating Lazio in Rome. A massive blow to Lazio’s ambition for Champions League football.

Bologna got closer to safety after a second-half hammering of Sampdoria to a ‘3-0’ score.

Empoli and Frosinone made no progress at the bottom of the table after they both suffered defeat in their respective matches.
