Italian Serie A: The Scudetto is Milan bound.

Apart from Juventus moving a point away from Napoli, the top four remained (positionally) as it was at the start of the round with Inter Milan having a game in hand to claim the top spot from AC Milan.
Salernitana and Genoa picked up victories to reshuffle the relegation zone. Venezia dropped to the bottom of the standings after losing to Atalanta while Genoa beat Cagliari, and Salernitana beat Fiorentina.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored a consolation goal in the 85th minute but Inter Milan used a 3-1 victory at San Siro to push for another year with the Scudetto.
Denzel Dumfries and Marcelo Brozovic gave Inter Milan the goals to go into the break with a 2-0 lead that was made 3 when Lautaro Martinez added his goal.

A 3-1 win against bottom-tabled Venezia was Atalanta’s first victory in their last six competitive fixtures.

Sasa Lukic’s brace got Torino three points against Spezia.

Fiorentina followed their elimination from the Coppa Italia with their first league defeat in six games. They lost 2-1 to a relegation-threatened Salernitana.

Andrea Pinamonti scored two goals to add to Liam Henderson’s equalizing goal to get Empoli from 2 goals down to a 3-2 win against a Napoli side that came into the game with ambitions of being part of the league title race.

 

Ciro Immobile scored his 26th goal of the season to get Lazio a lead in the fourth minute but AC Milan used the second half to pick up three points from Rome.
Olivier Giroud got Milan on the equalizing goal after five minutes after the restart before Sandro Tonali scored the winner in the second minute of the final added time to send AC Milan to the top of the table with a 2-1 win over Lazio.

 

Sassuolo had their fair share of chances to win this game but in the end, Juventus proved their quality by coming from a goal down to get the three points from a 2-1 win.
