Round 25 of the Italian Serie A was started with Juventus getting the result that will extend or very least maintain the gap they’ve created between themselves and the rest of the Serie A table.

It is surely looking like Juventus is going in for another Serie A league title. Ivaylo Chochev late goal for Palermo denied Juventus a clean sheet, but the victory was convincing.

Crotone remains in the relegation zone of the standings after falling 1-0 away at Atalanta. It was the fourth consecutive league defeat for recently promoted Crotone.

After dropping points against AC Milan, Lazio couldn’t afford another slip.

Lazio came quickly from a goal down to eventually getting an important goal that gave them an away victory against Empoli.

Empoli is now winless in four straight matches. Three losses and a draw.

It was another close score between Inter Milan and Bologna. Recent meetings between the two clubs have ended in a draw or a 1 goal win margin for Inter Milan. Gabriel Barbosa’s 81’st minute goal for Inter Milan was the difference maker.

Pescara demolished Genoa to get their second victory in the 2016-17 Serie A season.

Despite being and remaining at the bottom of the table, recently-promoted Pescara unleashed a ‘5-0’ beating on Genoa.

An early lead could not help Udinese avoid a consecutive league defeat. Gregoire Defrel scored two (relatively quick) second-half goals for Sassuolo to come from a goal down and take all three points from Udinese.

It was three goals and three straight league wins for third-placed Napoli.

Napoli handed Chievo Verona their first league defeat in four matches.

The league top scorer; Edin Dzeko has now scored in 8 straight matches for Roma.

With Juventus winning their fixture in Round 25, Roma had no other choice but to get a win as well. And so they did.

Roma easily defeated Torino to maintain the 7-point gap Juventus has managed to create at the top of the league table.

AC Milan defeated Fiorentina to go three consecutive matches without a defeat. Milan’s victory allowed them to open a four-point gap between the two teams.
