There remain three undefeated sides in the Serie A after seven rounds on the 2017/18 season.

Napoli, Juventus and Inter Milan are top three in the league and remain undefeated after seven rounds. Juventus failure to get a victory in the final game of the round against Atalanta made Napoli is the only side going through the season with victories in all their matches after a home victory over Cagliari. A 2-point gap separates Napoli and the rest of the Serie A table.

Paulo Dybala failed to convert a penalty that would have provided Juventus the winning goal in their away match against Atalanta. The penalty came after Juventus had blown away a 2-goal lead.

Lazio came from a goal down to trash Sassuolo by a 6-1 score. A winless  Hellas Verona avoided under defeat when a late penalty offered them the opportunity to get a point away against a Torino has ambitions of finishing the season in the European competition end of the standings.

Roma went to San Siro and handed AC Milan a 2-0 defeat. With a match in hand, Roma has already created a three-point gap between the two sides.

A ‘4-0’ victory was how Udinese shocked Sampdoria and handing them a first defeat of the season.

Paulo Dybala remains top scorer with 10 goals to his name. With Ciro Immobile (Lazio) and Dries Mertens (Napoli) scoring from the spot in this round, both players have climbed to a goal closer to top scorer Paulo Dybala (Juventus)  who failed to convert his chance from the spot. Immobile is just a goal behind Dybala.
