Despite playing the final 30 minutes of regulation time with a man less, Atalanta was able to double his scoring and Atalanta’s lead to give his side an important away victory that took them to fourth place in the league standing; closing in on Napoli.

Empoli did put up a good fight, but an unstoppable Juventus moved closer their 33rd and sixth consecutive league title after doing what was expected and defeating Empoli at home.

A late goal for Sampdoria denied Palermo important three points.

Their distance to safety would have been shortened if relegation-zoned Palermo could have held on to a goal lead.

A goal deep into additional time against a 10-man Bologna team rescued Genoa from a defeat at home and kept their two-point lead they have over Bologna in the standings.

Cagliari overcame going behind to an early goal by scoring a goal in each half to leave Crotone with all three points.

Ten minutes after Domenico Berardi missed a penalty that could have given Sassuolo the lead at home, Carlos Bacca scored the only goal of the match to give AC Milan the victory.

After thrashing Genoa to get a ‘5-0’ home victory, Pescara was sent back to their losing ways by Chievo Verona.

Ciro Immobile’s goal from the spot was the difference maker in this match.  Lazio picked up a consecutive league victory while giving Udinese a consecutive league defeat.

Radja Nainggolan was the star of the show when Roma went to the San Siro and defeated Inter Milan to keep up with Juventus at the top of the table.

Inter Milan dropped to sixth as Roma created an 11-point gap between the two sides in the league standings.

A missed penalty denied Andrea Belotti a hattrick that could have helped Torino to an away victory over Fiorentina.
Torino canceled out a two-goal deficit in the second half to leave Fiorentina with a point.
