There was a party in Naples, but the city failed to provide a valid reason for it on the day. Napoli failed to get the win they needed to seal the league title in front of their home supporters and give them a great start to their weekend. Their next fixture is away against Udinese.

The top two are now separated by 18 points.
The race for Champions League football qualification is currently being fought between six teams: Lazio, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Roma, and Atalanta.

Monza moved to midtable.

Napoli is on the verge of winning the league. Sampdoria is on the verge of being relegated.

Leece’s first win in nine matches came thanks to a penalty conversion by Gabriel Strefezza (7 defeats).
Udinese has only won one of their last five league games (3 defeats).

Monza won three games in a row in a run of 4 games unbeaten after a 2-0 win at Spezia.

Roma and AC Milan each scored two goals after the 90th minute. On the balance of play, both teams deserved one point. Tammy Abraham scored the game’s first goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time, giving Roma a three-minute lead. Alexis Saelemaekers equalized for AC Milan.

When Antonio Sanabia scored in the 75th minute to cancel out Davide Zappacosta’s goal in the 34th, Zapata’s goal was required.Duvan Zapata scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute to help Atalanta follow up their ‘3-1’ victory over Roma with a 2-1 victory over Torino.
Torino and Atalanta were both coming from a win against a Roman club. Torino had beaten Lazio ‘1-0’ in the previous round.

Lautaro Martinez scored twice as Inter Milan rallied from a goal down in the first half with three goals in the final 12 minutes of regulation time to defeat a Lazio side looking to rebound from their ‘1-0’ loss to Torino. — Lazio suffers their fourth consecutive league defeat after winning four in a row.
Inter Milan made it 3 league wins in a row. It was a result that was meant to help Napoli win the league title over the weekend.

Hellas Verona earned a 1-1 draw on the road thanks to Simone Verdi’s goal against a 10-man Cremonese. Giacomo Quagliata entered the game in the 54th minute and was sent off after only 8 minutes due to a red card.

Mathias Olivera walked off the field in the 82nd minute as the man who had scored the winning goal in Napoli’s third Scudetto. Boulaye Dia equalized for Salernitana two minutes later, spoiling Napoli’s party.
It took over an hour for Napoli to find the opening goal of the match against a relegation-threatened Salernitana side that was not looking to leave the game empty-handed.

Bottom-placed Sampdoria was the ideal opponent for Fiorentina to end a three-match losing streak.
Fiorentina used a 5-0 win against bottom-placed Sampdoria to snap a three-match losing streak.

Bologna’s Riccardo Orsolini scored from the penalty spot in the 10th minute to eventually get his side a point. Arkadiusz Milik failed to convert from the penalty spot in the 31st minute to bring Juventus level, but he made amends in the 61st minute. Juventus drew a 1-1 draw in Bologna after losing to Inter Milan.

Rome vs Milan:
Roma hosted AC Milan on Saturday, while Inter Milan hosted Lazio on Sunday.
Roma and AC Milan played a ‘1-1’ draw.
Inter Milan came from behind to beat Lazio ‘3-1’. The reverse fixture was a ‘3-1’ Lazio win so this was the payback.

The margin for error is slim for all four clubs in their chase to finish in a Champions League qualifying position.
