In the end, Juventus ended up winning the Serie A title by a single point.

It ended up as a narrow league victory for Juventus.
Inter Milan finished a point away from the top of the league withe a 2-0 away victory against Atalanta.

Juventus celebrated the league title after a 3-1 home defeat against Roma.

Napoli were 3-1 winners against Lazio, but Ciro Immobile scored Lazio’s goal to take his goal tally to 36 in the league; becoming Capocannoniere for the 3rd time and winning the European Golden Shoe for the first time.  The 36 goals also allowed Immobile to tie the league record for most goals in a single seasons. He will share the space with Gonzalo Higuain.

Lazio finished above Roma.
Inter Milan finished aboved AC Milan
Napoli failed to secure Champions Leauge through the league.
Roma gets the Europa League once again.

It’s highly improbable, but should Napoli win the 2019/20 Champions League and Roma win the 2019/20 Europa League, Lazio will miss out on the 2020/21 Champions League and play in the 2020/21 Europa League despite finishing in the top four of the 2019/20 Italian Serie A.

13 matches played after the restart and AC Milan stayed unbeaten in all of them. 9 wins 4 draws. AC Milan kept their unbeaten run going with a 3-0 victory against Cagliari.

The relegated clubs
Lecce
Brescia
SPAL

Relegated SPAL eneded their season on a 3-1 home defeat against Fiorentina.

Genoa knew a win was needed to insure their stay in the Serie A. They took a 3-0 lead into the break and kept it safe till the end of the match to end their season with a win against Hellas Verona.

Lecce gets relegated after falling on the wrong side of a score in a 7-goal thriller against Parma. Lecce needed a win and a winless match Genoa to secure safety; neither happened.

There are more league titles in Turin than in Milan; and Juventus alone has the combine league titles of both Milan giants combined. (36).

Will there be a stronger challenger next season? Or are we going to see Juventus lift up the Scudetto for the 10th consecutive time?
