Manchester United did the expected by getting a win over a struggling Everton side.
Newcastle recovered from a goal down in the first half to take the three points from Brentford. Five wins in a row for Newcastle United.

Leicester City stretched their winless run to 8 league games (7 defeats) after losing 1-0 at home against Bournemouth.
It was a narrow win but West Ham United will take anything they can get. West Ham bounced back from their ‘5-1’ defeat against Newcastle by leaving Fulham with three points from an own-goal. Four league defeats in a row for Fulham.

Heung Min Son and Harry Kane scored with strikes from outside the penalty box as Tottenham bounce back from a consecutive draw in the league with a questionable 2-1 win over a Brighton side that arguably deserved more from the match than a defeat.

Aston Villa won their 4th straight game in a run of 7 unbeaten league matches. Bertrand Traore’s early goal in the 48th minute and Olli Watkins’s late goal in the 5th minute of the added times sealed a ‘2-0’ win for Aston Villa over Nottingham Forest.
Nottingham Forest is now 8 matches without a win (5 defeats).

Matheus Nunes volleyed in the only goal of the game to give Wolves the three points at Chelsea’s expense. The first win for Wolves in four matches, while Chelsea go four matches without a win.
Manchester City put the pressure on Arsenal by doing the expected against bottom-tabled Southampton. Erling Haaland scored two goals in Manchester City’s 4-1 win.

Back-to-back wins for Crystal Palace after coming from a goal down to follow a 2-1 win over Leicester City with a 5-1 thrashing of Leeds United. Crystal Palace had gone 12 league games without a win before this run.

Roberto Firmino’s goal allowed Liverpool to recover from two goals down to avoid a home defeat against Arsenal. Mohamed Salah could’ve scored two goals if he converted his penalty kick in the 54th minute. Arsenal were two goals up in the opening 30 minutes but failed to get a win at Anfield. Gabriel Martinelli scored the game-opening goal in the 8th minute and assisted the second goal in the 28th minute.
