We saw Leicester City did the unimaginable in the last Premier League season by winning the title, Leipzig is looking to top that in the Bundesliga if they keep on doing what they are currently doing.

It was Ingolstadt chance to get a second win of the season. It would have also been a consecutive win for the team.

Both teams started the match with equal points in the league standings. Expectations meant that Borussia Dortmund had to take the opportunity to open up the gap in the league standings and get closer to being title contenders.
Three goals were scored in the second half after a goalless first half. The home team scored the bigger portion of the goals.

With RB Leipzig getting a victory in the twelfth round of the German Bundesliga, Bayern Munich had to fight hard to prevent the dropping of points against Bayer Leverkusen.
Mat Hummels second half header was the deciding goal in this fixture.

Eric Choupo-Moting could have had a brace if he had converted his first half penalty that would have given Schalke a lead before the break. He corrected his error by scoring the winning goal in the second half.
