Florian Niederlechner 15’                                Naby Keita 2’

                                                                             Timo Werner 21’ 35’

                                                                             Marcel Sabitzer 79’

There is not stopping of RB Leipzig.

The first match in the twelfth round of the 2016/17 Bundesliga season was another win to RB Leipzig.

A healthy ‘4-1’ victory allowed RB Leipzig to extend  their undefeated start to the 2016/17 Bundesliga season.

We saw Leicester City did the unimaginable in the last Premier League season by winning the title, Leipzig is looking to top that in the Bundesliga if they keep on doing what they are currently doing.

Borussia Monchengladbach                    1-1            Hoffenheim

Mahmoud Dahoud 25’                                                 Nadiem Amiri 53’

Hoffenheim came from behind to find an away draw against Borussia Monchengladbach. The draw was good enough to keep them among the last two undefeated teams in the league.

FC Koln                                     0-0                Augsburg

It was a goalless draw between Koln and Augsburg.

Hamburger SV                         2-2                Werder Bremen

Michael Gregoritsch 3’ 28’                          Fin Bartels 14’

                                                                        Serge Gnabry 45’

Ingolstadt                                     1-1              Wolfsburg

Anthony Jung 31’                                          Daniel Caligiuri 78’

Daniel Caligiuri’s late equalizing goal for Wolfsburg increased the pain of Moritz Hartmann’s first half penalty miss for Ingolstadt.

It was Ingolstadt chance to get a second win of the season. It would have also been a consecutive win for the team.

Eintracht Frankfurt                        2-1           Borussia Dortmund

Szabolcs Huszti 46’                                       Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 78’

Haris Seferovic 79’

Good news : Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to score.

Bad news : Borussia Dortmund drops more points in the Bundesliga

Both teams started the match with equal points in the league standings. Expectations meant that Borussia Dortmund had to take the opportunity to open up the gap in the league standings and get closer to being title contenders.

Three goals were scored in the second half after a goalless first half. The home team scored the bigger portion of the goals.

Bayern Munich                               2-1                Bayer Leverkusen

Thiago Alcantara 30’                                          Hakan Calhanoglu 35’

Mats Hummels 56’

Bayern couldn’t afford the dropping of points after suffering their first defeat of the Bundesliga season in their previous league fixture against Borussia Dortmund.

With RB Leipzig getting a victory in the twelfth round of the German Bundesliga, Bayern Munich had to fight hard to prevent the dropping of points against Bayer Leverkusen.

Mat Hummels second half header was the deciding goal in this fixture.

Schalke 04                                 3-1                  Darmstadt

Sead Kolasinac 26’                                          Marcel Heller 6’

Eric Choupo-Moting 60’

Alessandro Schopf 90’

Schalke continues to climb up the Bundesliga table with another win.

Schalke 04 kept their good form running after coming back from a goal down to get  a win over Darmstadt.

Eric Choupo-Moting could have had a brace if he had converted his first half penalty that would have given Schalke a lead before the break. He corrected his error by scoring the winning goal in the second half.

Hertha Berlin                                    2-1                Mainz 05

Vedad Ibisevic 36’ 67’                                         Aaron Seydel 25’

It could have gone anyway in this fixture, but a goal from Vedad Ibisevic in each half gave Hertha Berlin a home victory over Mainz 05.
