Eintracht Frankfurt held on to third place in the Bundesliga standing after dropping Schalke in front of their fans.  Alexander Meier’s first half goal got Frankfurt their first win after the winter break.

Augsburg came from an early goal down to win away at Wolfsburg.

It was a victory gave Augsburg enough points to leap over Wolfsburg in the league standings.

In a battle at the bottom of the league table, Ingolstadt defeated Hamburger SV to move a spot above them in the standings.

Despite fought well in the second half to secure some points at home. But that is not enough time against a team like Bayern Munich.

Darmstadt received a reminder for why they are at the bottom of the league table with a hammering at home from FC Koln.

Koln scored three goals in each half to leave with all three points.

After 17 league matches, Hoffenheim finally tasted defeat in the 2016/17 Bundesliga season.

It was a match between the ‘undefeated at home’ and the ‘undefeated in the season’. Home advantage won.

Borussia Monchengladbach scored three in the second half to overcome two goals conceded in the first half and left Leverkusen with all the three points from this fixture.

The victory brings Monchengladbach to four points away from Leverkusen.

Hertha Berlin fell at Freiburg.

Freiburg moved four points away from Hertha Berlin after managing to score enough goals to get a home victory. Nil Peterson’s late goal for Freiburg was needed to secure maximum points when Julian Schieber scored a minute after to cut Freiburg’s lead into half.

Borussia Dortmund dropped more points after being unable to build on an early lead at Mainz.

Fortunately for Dortmund, both Hoffenheim and Hertha Berlin didn’t take advantage of this slip-up.
