                                           Benedikt Howedes 10’
                                          Alessandro Schopf 18’

April 29, 2017

Borussia Dortmund      0-0       FC Koln

It ended as a goalless draw after Timo Horn’s goalkeeping skills helped FC Koln to deny Borussia Dortmund a home victory.

Mainz 05          1-2      Borussia Monchengladbach

Yoshinori Muto 89’       Lars Stindl 31’
                                        Nico Schulz 46’

Monchengladbach ended a consecutive league defeat at Mainz to open a 9-point gap between the two sides.

Werder Bremen    2-0    Hertha Berlin

Fin Bartels 9’
Max Kruse 15’

Werder Bremen closed in on Hertha Berlin and the rest of the top five teams in the league standings after getting two first-half goals to cut the gap between the two sides down to a point.

Darmstadt         3-0      Freiburg

Felix Platte 22’
Jerome Gondorf 45’+1’
Sven Schipplock 65’

With three games to go and other results yet to come in, it might be too late for Darmstadt to save their season.  Bottom table Darmstadt is still fighting after handing Freiburg a surprise defeat.

RB Leipzig        0-0         Ingolstadt

RB Leipzig could get the required result to prolong Bayern Munich’s title.

Wolfsburg          0-6          Bayern Munich

                                                               David Alaba 19’
                                          Robert Lewandowski 36’ 45’
                                         Arjen Robben 66’
                                         Thomas Muller 80’
                                         Joshua Kimmich 85’

Bayern Munich won their 5th straight German Bundesliga title in style.  Three goals in each half were how Bayern brushed aside Wolfsburg to claim the 2016/17 Bundesliga title.

With RB Leipzig failing to get the maximum points in their fixture with Ingolstadt, Bayern Munich knew a victory would secure the league title.

April 30, 2017

Augsburg           4-0       Hamburger SV

Halil Altintop 28’ 40’
Philipp Maz 76’

Hoffenheim        1-0        Eintracht Frankfurt

Benjamin Hubner 90’

Hoffenheim moved up to third-place.

Hoffenheim got a late goal to get the victory that allowed them to take advantage of Borussia Dortmund’s inability to get a victory against Koln.
