Dortmund blew a first-half lead by conceding two goals at the end of the half, leaving them trailing ‘2-1’ at the break. Unlike their previous two games, they did not drop points and won the game by a score of 4 to 2 against a 10-man Freiburg team. A back-to-back league defeat for Freiburg.

Serhou Guirassy scored all three goals for Stuttgart in their ‘3-1’ win over Mainz.
RB Leipzig got the job done in the first half, picking up three points from three goals scored in the first hour of their match against Augsburg. The result keeps Augsburg winless.

Wolfsburg defeated Union Berlin 2-1 thanks to Joakim Maehle’s goal. Both Wolfsburg and Union Berlin were looking to bounce back from their first league defeats of the season, but Union Berlin’s defeat was extended.

They surrendered a two-goal lead, but newly promoted Heidenheim recovered to win their first game of the season, defeating Werder Bremen 4-2. Eren Dinkci’s two goals were instrumental to this victory.

Darmstadt and Monchengladbach remain without a win after evenly splitting 6 goals between themselves. It was a game of two halves, as Damstadt took a 3 goal lead into halftime and Monchengladbach found three goals in the second half to get even.
