They were pre-season favorites and might be beginning to act like it.

Paris Saint-Germain increased the pressure on OGC Nice and Monaco by getting another victory.

A very early goal was enough for Bordeaux to get a victory over Toulouse.  

Going a man down in the 44th minute didn’t help Toulouse chance of a comeback in this match.

 

Dijon                                                          0-0                           Lille

Nothing could separate Dijon and Lille. A consecutive league draws for recently promoted Dijon and four winless league matches for Lille.

 

Caen -POSTPONED- Nancy

Partially frozen pitch call the game to be postponed.

 

Guingamp                                     1-1                               Rennes

With fewer men, Rennes were able to come from a goal down and hold on to draw away at Guingamp.  

Rennes midfielder Sanjin Prcic was sent off late in the first half after receiving a second yellow card.

Metz                                                  2-0                              Montpellier

Cheick Diabate 14’ 20’

Montpellier couldn’t find their way back into the match after going two goals down in the early parts of the first half.  Cheick Diabate scored a brace that gave relegation-zoned Metz a home victory over Montpellier.

Monaco remains potent in front of goal and got a victory that moved them to the top of Ligue 1.

A brace from Gabriel Boschilia and Valere Germain gave Monaco a comfortable home victory over bottom table Lorient. (No shocker)

Two goals in the second half allowed Saint Etienne to come from a goal down to grab a victory over Angers. The defeat denied Angers the opportunity to climb out of the relegation zone in Ligue 1.

Alexandre Lacazette 62’ 75’

Lyon made their position on the league table more secured after a home victory over Marseille.

Alexandre Lacazette scored the winning goal and the insurance goal for Lyon.

Lyon is 8 points away from the top three in Ligue 1, and 6 points away from every other team in the standings.
