After a goalless first half, things went bad for Guingamp  when Mustapha Diallo was sent off following a second yellow card. A second yellow card that came alongside a penalty kick.

Kamil Grosicki had his penalty kick saved by Guingamp goalkeeper Karl-Johan Johnsson.

The away team did the best they could with 10 men on the field, but a late goal in the additional minutes gave Rennes all three points against Guingamp.

The goalscorer was a second half substitute.  Adama Diakhaby had been in the match for less than 15 minutes.

It was a win that moved Rennes from a point below Guingamp, to two points above them.

Edinson Cavani scored a brace to give Paris Saint-Germain a home win over Bordeaux. It was a result that put PSG back to their winning ways after their away defeat to Toulouse

Rodrigue Casimir Ninga’s hattrick for Montpellier was not enough to give the team an away win over Dijon.

Two late goals in the final ten minutes gave Dijon a point at home. Yohan Riviere late equalizer in the 90th minute would be the home fans favorite.

Nantes                       1-0          Bastia

A ‘1-0’ win at home over Bastia gave Nantes their second win of the season. A win could have taken Bastia into the top half of the table, and a loss would have kept Nantes in the relegation zone.

Ivan Santini’s goal from a penalty was the only goal of the match. It was the goal that gave Caen a home win that put a stop to Toulouse winning streak.

With Nice yet to play their match, Six different players scored for Monaco as they climbed back to the top of the table after thrashing newly promoted FC Metz.

Three goals were scored in the first half against the 11 men of Metz. After Cheick Doukoure was sent off in the second half after receiving a red card, Monaco put four past the 10-men of Metz.

Florian Thauvin’s goal in the 64th minute was looking like a goal that going to give Marseille a consecutive win, but a late goal by Pierrick Capelle deep into additional time rescued a point for Angers.

Mario Balotelli 86’

Before Mario Balotelli got sent off for two yellow cards within the space of five minutes, he scored the winning goal that sent Nice back to the top of the pile in French Ligue 1.

After taking a goal lead into halftime, Nice was back on level terms when Benjamin Moukandjo scored an equalizer for Lorient in the 61st minute.
