Tottenham 1-0 Manchester City
Tottenham – Heung-Min Son 78’

Heung-Min Son has now scored the opening goal for Tottenham in their new stadium in both the Premier League and the Champions League.

Son’s 78th-minute winning goal gave the Tottenham a narrow lead to take into next week’s quarter-final second leg at the Etihad Stadium.

As things stand, Manchester City has lost all their European games (5) against English opposition and Tottenham is unbeaten in the knockout stage of Stadium.this season’s competition.

A ‘1-0’ win shouldn’t be too much for Manchester City to overturn the tie at home.

Liverpool 2-0 Ajax
Liverpool – Naby Keita 5’ Roberto Firmino 26’

Liverpool did the expected and secured a comfortable win at home over Porto.
A two-goal lead before the break was enough for Liverpool to set themselves up for a second-leg trip to Portugal.

Ajax 1-1 Juventus
Ajax – David Neres 46’
Juventus – Cristiano Ronaldo 45’

A Cristiano Ronaldo headed goal earned Juventus a vital away goal after a 1’1’ tie at the Amsterdam Arena.
Juventus ended the first half with a goal and Ajax began the second half with one.
Juventus will be relying on their form at home to do what is required to advance to the semi-final.

If Ajax plays as well at they did away in the Round of 16, there is a good chance Turin will be shedding tears.

Manchester United 0-1 Barcelona
Barcelona – Luke Shaw 12’(og)

The ball will be in Barcelona’s court in the second-leg after getting their first win at Old Trafford against Manchester United.
