Harvey Elliott scored in the first minute of added time to complete a comeback for Liverpool against a 10-man Crystal Palace.

A ‘1-1’ draw against Burnley will feel like a point dropped for Brighton, even though it was Burnley who failed to keep a lead.

Few would have anticipated Manchester United losing 3-0 to Bournemouth at home after their midweek home win against Chelsea. The score could have been 4-0 if VAR had not canceled a late Bournemouth goal. Bournemouth has now gone five league games unbeaten, winning four.

Sheffield United won their second game of the season by beating Brentford ‘1-0’.
After a 1-0 home win over Manchester City, Aston Villa followed up with another victory against Arsenal. John McGinn scored in the seventh minute to give the hosts a lead that they held onto for the remainder of the game.

Everton won their third game in a row, beating Chelsea into back-to-back defeats. Chelsea followed a 2-1 away defeat to Manchester United with a 2-0 away defeat against Everton. The result is part of Everton’s rebuild to make up for the 10-point penalty.

Ten goals scored and none conceded for Fulham in two games. It was a back-to-back 5-0 win for Fulham as they followed their 5-0 win against Nottingham Forest with a 5-0 win against West Ham. A first league defeat for West Ham in five games.

Manchester City had to come from behind to defeat Luton Town, having gone down a goal in the first half. The victory was important for Manchester City, who were looking to bounce back from last round’s defeat to Aston Villa, and end a run of four league games without a win.

Richarlison scored two goals in Tottenham’s 4-1 victory over Newcastle, which was their first league win in six matches. Newcastle suffered back-to-back defeats by a three-goal margin, having lost 3-0 to Everton prior to this match.
