English Premier League after 13 rounds : Manchester United gets a point at Stanford Bridge to cut Chelsea’s lead in the title race.

Chelsea’s lead at the top is reduced to a point but the ‘Top 4’ remains as it was at the start of the round.
Manchester City victory against West Ham allowed for both Manchester City and Liverpool to move further away from West Ham.
Arsenal is right outside the Champions League qualification spot on even point with West Ham.

Burnley and Tottenham have a game in hand after their scheduled fixture was postponed because of the weather.
Despite this, both teams kept their positions in the standings.

Manchester United remained in 8th after holding Chelsea to a point.
Leicester City moved up two positions to 10th with a win against Watford.


Leeds United and Norwich City picked up a point but the bottom 5 remained as they were from the start of the round; with Newcastle sitting bare bottom without a win to their name.

Two goals in the second half sorted the victory for Arsenal.
Arsenal’s response to their defeat at Liverpool was a result to keep Newcastle winless in the league.

CRYSTAL PALACE 1- 2 ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa wins successively to hand Crystal Palace their first defeat in eight matches.

LIVERPOOL 4-0 SOUTHAMPTON
Diogo Jota-s first-half brace helped Liverpool to a 4-0 win at Southampton.
Jota scored the game-winning goal in the first two minutes of the match.

NORWICH 0-0 WOLVES
It ended as a goalless draw with wolves, but Norwich remained unbeaten since getting their first win of the season.

MANCHESTER CITY 2-1 WEST HAM
Fernandinho’s 90th-minute goal became necessary when Manuel Lanzini scored in the fourth minute of the final added minutes to half the deficit for West Ham.

LEICESTER City 4- 2 WATFORD
James Maddison scored the opener and assisted Jamie Vardy’s goals to get Leicester City a 3-1 lead at the break.
Leicester City made up for the 3-0 thrashing from Chelsea to end a streak of three games without a win, while Watford followed a 4-1 win against Manchester United with this defeat.

BRENTFORD 1-0 EVERTON
Ivan Toney scored the only goal of the match from the penalty spot to get Brentford their first win in six games while stretching Leicester City’s winless run to 7 games. [5. defeats].

CHELSEA 1-1 MANCHESTER UNITED
Chelsea’s lead was narrowed to a point after an awarded penalty allowed Jorginho to score the equalizing goal for a point at home against Manchester United.
