English FA Community Shield: Liverpool 3-1 Manchester City
Liverpool picked up the FA Community Shield with a goal from Trent Alexander-Arnold to open the scoring in the 21st minute, a goal from Mohamed Salah in the 83rd minute from the penalty spot to restore their lead after Julian Alvarez even the score for Manchester City in the 70th minute.
Darwin Nunez scored in the 4th minute of the added time to stretch the league for Liverpool.

German DFL-Supercup: RB Leipzig 3-5 Bayern Munich
8 goals from 8 players.
Bayern Munich had a comfortable 3-goal lead until Christopher Nkunku and Dani Olmo narrowed it down to a goal lead. RB Lepzig’s chase for an equalizing goal opened them up for a counterattack that allowed Leroy Sane to get Bayern Munich a 2-goal lead to win the 2022 DFL-Supercup.

Dutch Johan Cruyff Shield: Ajax 3-5 PSV Eindhoven
Guus Til’s hattrick helped PSV Eindhoven came from a goal down to beat Ajax to the Johan Cruyff Shield.

Portuguese Supertaça: Porto 3-0 Tondela
No shockers in the Supertaca.
Porto got the job done with two goals from Mehdi Taremi to sandwiching a goal from Evanilson.

 

July 31. 2022:

French Trophée des Champions: Paris St. Germain 4-0 FC Nantes
Messi opened the scoring in the first half.
Sergio Ramos opened the scoring in the second half.
Neymar closed the scoring in both halves.
Paris St. Germain win Trophée des Champions after losing it to Lille last season.

2022UEFA Women’s European Championship

England 2-1 Germany (aet)
England won their first-ever European Championship.
England needed extra time to get the winning goal and deny Germany a chance to win their 9th title.
Ella Toone entered the game in the 55th minute and scored the game-opening goal in the 62nd minute. Chloe Kelly entered the game in the 63rd minute and scored the match-winning goal in the 110th minute after Lina Magull had leveled the score for Germany in the 79th minute to push the match into extra time.

The legacy SARINA WIEGMAN is building should come with a statue.

She stopped England in the 2017 Women’s Euro with Netherlands in the semifinal.
Yesterday, she helped them win the title.
