Copa de Rey SemiFinals
There was no clear winner in the first-leg matches of the Spanish Copa del Rey semifinal fixtures.
Barcelona and Real Madrid played out a ‘1-1’ draw at the Camp Nou, and Real Betis and Valencia played out a ‘2-2’ draw in Sevilla.

What teams will contest for the 2019 Copa del Rey final.

February 6, 2019
Barcelona 1-1 Real Madrid
Barcelona – Malcom 57’
Real Madrid – Lucas Vazquez 6’

Malcom scored a second-half equalizer for Barcelona to avoid defeat after Lucas Vazquez gave Real Madrid an early lead in the 6th minute. Real Madrid got the away goal, but ‘1-1’ isn’t a secure score when it is against Barcelona. Outside of holding Barcelona to a goalless draw in the second-leg, Real Madrid has to win outright to take advantage of the ‘away-goal’ from this fixture. February 27, 2019, is the second-leg.

February 7, 2019
Real Betis 2-2 Valencia
Real Betis – Loren Moron 45’ Joaquin 54’
Valencia – Denis Cheryshev 70’ Kevin Gameiro 90+2

Kevin Gamiero a late goal to give Valencia a healthy ‘away goal’ advantage to take into the second leg.
Real Betis is in a vulnerable position after blowing a two-goal lead at home. February 28, 2019, is the second leg.
