A home defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt continued Hamburger SV winless start after eight league matches in the Bundesliga.

Hoffenheim remains undefeated in the Bundesliga after beating a ‘10-man’ Bayer Leverkusen team to get a fourth consecutive win.

Leverkusen’s Kevin Volland was sent off after receiving an early red card in the just about six minutes from kick-off.  Hoffenheim was up a goal less than ten minutes after receiving the numerical advantage, before sealing the deal with two more goals in the second half.

FC Koln suffered their first defeat of the season away to Hertha Berlin.

The win moved Hertha Berlin two points and two spots above FC Koln on the Bundesliga league standings.

Dortmund dropped points against an Ingolstadt team that has failed to record a single victory in the Bundesliga this season.

Dortmund was looking at a defeat until a late goal in additional time from the young Christian Pulisic gave Borussia Dortmund a point after coming from behind to secure a point.

 

A draw was not a satisfactory result for a team  like Borussia Dortmund. A team that is viewed by most fans as a major title contender.

Darmstadt defeated a 10-man Wolfsburg to grab a home victory. It was a victory that shot Darmstadt out of the relegation zone.

On the balance of play, it wasn’t a fair score to Wolfsburg. This defeated added to their winless streak to make it seven consecutive winless matches for Wolfsburg.

Bayern Munich remains undefeated in their title defense season.

RB Leipzig remains undefeated after in the Bundesliga after defeating Werder Bremen to get a third consecutive league victory.

 

The win makes Leipzig the closest team to the league leaders Bayern Munich.

Schalke 04 got their second win in the league by defeating Mainz 05. After a terrible start to their league, Schalke 04 has now gone three matches undefeated.
