Bronze medals and ‘Golden Boots’ – Belgium and England face off for a place on the podium.

We will likely forget the winner of this match in the future.

Belgium’s golden generation will need something to mark their presence in history.

A bronze medal is on the line when Belgium and England meet for the second time in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.  The golden generation of Belgian football will be looking to go back home with a medal around their necks, and while England failed to ‘bring it home’, bringing home a bronze medal would soften the pain.

Reaching the World Cup semi-final for the first time since 1990 is an accomplishment for England, but another defeat to Belgium will mean that England would be exiting the tournament without beating a team ranked higher than they are by FIFA.

While the teams look for a final victory in the 2018 World Cup, Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku will be in their own personal battle for the ‘golden boot’ award. Harry Kane leads the list with 6 goals,  two more goals than Romelu Lukaku.
