Joe Allen’s goal in the second half gave Stoke City a victory over a struggling Crystal Palace.

After managing just a victory in their last 11 league matches and losing 8 of the last 11, the goal for Crystal Palace is to avoid relegation.

West Bromwich Albion remains five points above West Ham United after a ‘2-2’ draw.

After losing an early lead and finding themselves in a losing in the final minutes of regulation time, West Bromwich Albion had to score late to pick up a point against West Ham.

It could have been another quick hat trick for Sadio Mane.

In what was the biggest fixture of the day, Liverpool got the better of Tottenham Hotspur.

Sadio Mane delivered Liverpool their first league victory in 2017 when he scored two goals in quick successions for Liverpool to close the gap and enhance their chances at a top-four finish.

Burnley did the improbable and stopped Chelsea from picking up the maximum points from this fixture. Because of Liverpool’s success in their fixture against Tottenham, a draw was good enough for Chelsea to widen their lead at the top of the standings.

The champions might just drop. Leicester City earned five straight league defeats after Swansea City got two goals in the latter part of the first half to get a home victory.

Leicester is sitting right above the relegation zone and one more bad result could have them in the zone.
