A 5-star Wolfburg stapled Schalke to the bottom of the league table. After Shkodran Mustafi’s own-goal gave Wolfburg a lead to take into the second-half. In the second half, Wout Weghorst scored and assisted the other two goals in Wolfsburg 5-0 win against Schalke.
Dortmund found a 2-0 win against Hertha Berlin to bounce back for the defeat in Der Klassiker.
Arminia Bielefeld helped their relegation battle by managing to grab a win at Leverkusen. Leverkusen in recent weeks haven’t looked anything like how they started the season.
The points were shared after a 1-1 draw in the second half. RB Leipzig dropped a massive two points at home against Frankfurt.
Hoffenheim arguably deserved more from the game than a 2-0 defeat, but Stutgart made it successive home wins before they traveled to Munich to face Bayern.
