Arsenal is back at the top of the league with a 2-point lead in the title race after their hard-fought win against Aston Villa was matched with a Manchester City draw against Nottingham Forest.
Manchester United is now three points from second place after a ‘3-0’ home win against Leicester City.
A defeat to Liverpool dropped Newcastle United out of the top four.
Tottenham used a 2-0 home win against West Ham to move into the ‘top four’.
Liverpool moved a position up to 8th – and are now 7 points from the fourth place with two games in hand over the current occupant.

Chelsea remained positioned at the middle of the league standings in 10th after a defeat against bottom-tabled Southampton.
Southampton remains bottom but their victory tightened up the relegation race.
Leeds United and West Ham fall into the relegation zone after Everton and Bournemouth got a win in this round.
